WED: the first drink we had when we
arrived in hkg airport: mango juice with jelly and watermelon juice with honey and jelly
hoodie+sunnies, what a wannabe but those few minutes were possibly the only time i had them on, cos for the rest of the trip hkg was pouring, drizzling, peppering with rain ,whatever u call it,

everyday was this:
okay maybe not everyday but my parents forcefed me with lota yummy stuff almost every 2 hrs , i think i have put on extra kilos and my skin is feelin super darn stretched

vulgar chicken feeet
black tofu or rather pig's blood
macaroons frm harbur city were for fun
our first day was spent at TST silvercord and harbourcity, i got myself a dr.denim pair of black skinnies for $sgd100 which were def cheaper compared to singsing
can u see the really tiny mushroom on the top right?
2nd day, we went to festival walk in kowloon tong and we had a superb lunch at "jasmine"
ooooh my fav: custard buns, the best i've eaten are the ones sold at sunshine plaza but this was superb, the custard was basicaly liquid
festival walk had uniqlo and H&M, these were the only stores i wanted to shop at ,so yay for me
bought dan like 3 tees with black n white prints on it , super gd buys and jeans were only $30+sgd
at H&M, i found like 3 dresses, 1 for work, 1 for dinner( a lovely teal tube dress with poof) and another which was worn by britugly here

izzue was pretty good, i loved the decor of the shop, they have this section where they displayed really nice black n smart-looking pieces, i fell in love with a blazer which didnt have any poofy shoulder pad n fitted me so damn well but it was going for sgd250( after discount )and i reckoned that's overpriced for something that is made in hk
i was pretty surprised to find bottled watermelon juice packed n sold in the convenience stores, nobody sells pasteurised watermelon juice
we went to a funeral wake( the real reason why my dad wanted to go to hk) n customs was after a person dies, the family has to book a date at the funeral parlour to hold the wake and the body is kept in the mortuary , thats like so sad cos the grieving period is so much longer n the body wld have looked really bloated by the time u have the wake n it just pains the family to see the dead in that state doesnt it? but i guess thats the way when u're in hkg where land is scarce and funeral wakes are held in a centralised place
next day was gd bye hkg, hello macau ,tourists have the option to take a helicopter instead but that wld cost $500sgd per pax for one way n we're not in that league so we took the ferry : )
macau was beautiful, way better than i' had expected it to be
it was a contrast of old and new
i suppose anybody wld feel at ease when they spot a starbucks joint or a macdonalds
lotsa peektures of my parents cos they're nt good with the camera, read :shaky hands
they had a revolving restaurant on top of the macau tower but pity it rained so heavily in the evening we had to cancel dinner plans n head back to hongkong
wynn casino housed all the major designer labels
macau had casinos strewn all over the place n they were hugeeeee
we went to the venetian which was the newest hotel that was ready on the "cotai strip" which aimed to look like the "las vegas strip"
can u imagine the amt of foreign investments ? st regis, crowne, four seasons were building a hotel n a casino each on that strip

the venetian's shopping malls were modelled against venice
the fake sky was pretty cool haha
i was so happythey had Boost Juice at the food place and it was a pretty aussie girl who served it : )
after shopping a lil bit, my dad suggested gg to the casino and i had plenty of fun, the casino was the size of 4 football fields
we played big-small, blackjack and took on the jackpot
i changed 500hkd and i made winnings up to 2000hkd just at one table playing big-small, which requires players to guess the combination of the dices
then we were winning at blackjack and we were winning for a while
until i went for a toilet break
when i came out, my parents were no longer at the table!! hehe we won alot and we lost alot so i guess that whole theory about winning, n losing n then tryin to make the winnings back is true, u usuallyend up losing it all at the end of the day
we took the cotai jet back to hkg and pls take the cotai jet to n fro if anybody has the chance cos the ride back was really comfy n service was excellent as compared to taking the ferry which was a nauseating affair
the entire friday night was pouring very heavily :( so we were confined to our rooms
next morning was yumcha,
swirly custard buns
i had dimsum almost everyday, im not touchin that for the next few weeks
KKs for loved ones
Killin time at the airport

Pris’s pavlova beats this
Fois gras sushi handrooll
was so excited to watch '21" on board the plane home
me love the main actor dude, he's so cute
arrived home at 1245am, and headed out to meet my boy
n the girls were already there :D
went home to crash
n sunday started out real moody n upsetting
i was this close to the edge, some pple just dont think n take things for granted
thank god for wondergirl g n super prissy p, en dining was super crazy yummy
n tcc across the street for tea and bangkok planning : ) the dudes were really nice to give us more cookies
we're heading to bangkok in 5 days : )

Ah!! Jealous! Did not go to Macau, but the bf did when we stayed in HK. I did not know they had the biggest casinos from Las Vegas in Macau, we stayed in Wynn's when we were in Vegas. Gosh, have you really eaten the chicken foot and the pig's blood?!! I always try to avoid doing so when I am in Asia, or people try to force me to eat it!
AHH I am so jealous! Bangkok, I really want to go sometime!!! Will be heading to Saigon and Hanoi in a week, though, but for some reason I do not deem it half as cool as Bangkok.
meow!!
helloo u : )yes i have eaten the chicken foot and the black tofu hahahaa does that make me a terrible person? it tastes alright when they douse it with sauces n peppers.
n there really is nothing to be jealous about, it was raining every single day : ( so sad.
macau is infested with casinos, it resembled the playground of a mad architect.hehehe.
please have fun in hanoi n saigon, the food wld be great : )
