a reallly long post abt my really kiddy weekend

friday's date was 08-08-08 , a really auspicious date to the chinese n singapore pools launched a $8M prize toto

i had a little bit of luck

one of my tix contained 4 numbers out of 7 numbers in the same row,
14 17 19 21

which converted to $30 extra cash hehe

last weekend was so non-alcoholic ,in fact ,i felt like a kid all over again

saturday was spent with gina as we went to watch pris play the piano at an informal piano recital held at her tcher's house

and it was my first time to one too : )

the kids were brilliant! im gonna make sure my kid learns how to play an instrument as well : )the line up had almost 30 people, cant imagine the hours they each had to put in to perfect their pieces, note how most of their feet can barely touch the floor haha

by night: i couldnt resist yummy yummy ice cream somewhere at bugis

strawberry flavour+twix= delish!

n it was a night of boardgames, like boardgames that we've never played before
(the group of us have been pretty mad over cranium + taboo recently )

have u played benvoleo? it is a game of removing objects from the disc without letting the disc topple , and if the disc topples the person who can stack the highest "tower" wins

the guys won quite easily haha
then we had the briliant idea of placing chicken wings on the disc n see whether any hungry person( dan in particular) wld take the bait

payed cash n guns: objective was to be the richest mafia on the street by killing other people with a "bang" or a " bang bang bang" card n sharing the pot of money with as little mafia bosses as possible



there was also a twist to the game, where we had to guess who played the undercover cop :P
n the other dumb (but real fun) games we played haha

sunday: i dyed my hair back to black : )
went over to pris's, where we blew bubbles with lauren for a while and we even set a new record of 31 and 2/3s jenga stories!!

n it was followed by seafood mania at red house with pris's family : )
Monday :

i'll walk past starbucks everyday and this tumbler costs $14.30,but if u fill it up with ur morning starbucks coffee, there is a 30cents discount: ) imagine the number of cups we save n still be the envy of ur colleagues by having hot coffee till mid day :X

post- work : I spent some time with dan's sis( who btw, is as brill as matilda in roald dahl) to get stuff for her uni wardrobe
n i spotted a miumiu ripoff in topshop but i couldnt bear to buy it
its like " its out before its even in"

: ) the new fall winter season for prada is all lacey n romantic i loveee stella mccartney's fall winter get up in white AND black, its one of those dresses where I would actually buy both if i can afford to

Tuesday was mortini's and death cab for cutie;s concert!!!!

we went in feelin tipsy happy n really stuffed from steak sandwiches
the lead singer sounded just like how he does in the songs, awesome concert, everyone sang along to " follow u into the dark"- sigh -i get so smittened by talented people

for the encore they sang another 4 songs! how fantastic : )

i cldnt find pants in the morning so i put on this poofy emerald green tube dress from H&M hongkong together with a long cardi just for work ( since i can wear anything right)
n NOBODY at the work place knows of death cab for cutie, serious generation gap mannnnn
so i couldnt share my excitement with anybody for the entire day,or at least i tried to with kiwi girl n she was like " who?" -blinkblink-

so much for tryin to imitate miu miu's fascination with the "circus" last season hehee
