sundays are usually spent feeling dazed doing routine family stuff.
my dad sprained his ankle 2 nights before and he didnt know till saturday night when it started to hurt n swell, so my mom who didnt wanna wake me up , took my swivel chair from my study room and swivelled my dad from the stairway to the car and drove my wailing daddy to TTSH at 5:30am.
damn cute la.
so i spent sunday afternoon pushing my dad from master bedroom to my study room where he can have his meals.
come evening, i attended a dear friend's popo's wake to pay my last respects. I have never met her grandma before but i know she was very dear to her.. we spent quite a bit of time catching up as well. i pray for God's grace and love to blanket her family in this time of need and grief, and that if there is anything, im always here for her.
I've decided,when i grow old, i would love to have lotsa grandkids too : )

this week's theme is all about ribbons and bows. we managed to get our hands on pretty colourful sundresses and a couple of dressy ones and they all have bows!
we haven't been advertising anywhere, any suggestions would be welcomed. : )
work today was a little crazy though.
the ASX delayed its opening hours as it was going to implement the "no naked short-selling" rule for the next 1 month... then they deliberated and said warrants/ futures and covered shorts were exempted from the ban.
not very smart to impose the ban over the weekend only to realise its not fair to those who had overnight shorts right???
think they shld have only released the news today.
everyone was pretty excited and we were given specific instructions to remove all sell orders, or be slapped with a hefty fine. this move was suppose to protect retail traders, but honestly it wasnt thaaat easy to trade cos there were no serious buyers this time round.
the bailout in the US was suppose to help the property n financials sector, the value did go up, but they went up for a short period of time n went down again...
im not sure how this is going to go since the markets won't be as "liquid"anymore.
Macquarie which was plunging down the entire week was back up by a little bit. some said it was "irrevocablybroken" but nobody's gonna short it anymore so they must be heaving a huge sigh of relief.
Morgan Stanley n Goldman Sachs r gonna become holding banks,losing their "independent bank" statuses for now..
this financial turmoil has been likened to be as bad as the Great Depression, the craziest roller coaster ride since last yr, we console ourselves that it will only get better, but will it?? let's give it a couple more weeks.
meantime, im being stunned by this new creation by miu miu
