Thursday night:
Dan dragged me to the movies to catch Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons and i fell in love with brad pitt over and over and OVER again.
( when he started to look like brad pitt and not 80 or 7, that is)

Friday :
i ended work on a good note and made up for the losses of the week, so yay, back in the PLUS for the month.
Went home to pack for an hour and mailed all the items out at the post office before heading to Harry's at BQ with my colleagues.
A new guy in the building who just started work on Monday asked this dutch dude whether he's heard of a
" Holland Village"
His reply " dude, it's like a shithole mann. nothing like Holland at all"
ahh well. HV holds fond memories especially right after ACJC and it has such a weekend vibe. slippers slacks and sunnies.
the foreigners may not get it, but i love every corner of it.
Had Ramen ( super yummy yummy ones at capital square) in this florescent-lighted japanese cookhouse with dan and headed home for the weekend.
My lil package from ebay arrived and i was so impressed with the Japanese seller.
It was gift wrapped in an Isetan Wrapper on top of newspaper wrapping and the dude even bothered printing out both our names and address .
sigh they say the japanese go to lengths to make everything look nice.

Saturday was spending time with Gina and Dan.

it's amazing how wearing a simple hat garners so many looky looks.
After dan and gang left after desserts, i went home to entertain some of Dad's guests who arrived pretty late.
and i kinda learnt that in our local uni, law and medicine faculties might have a racial quota and i think that's really sad. accept the kid if she's brilliant enough.
and then we came round to the topic of politics and omg forgive my ignorance but i didn't know the republicans actually picked a blackman to head them.
what a big comearound.
