hello April! gdbye March

Tuesday- Gucci Fashion Show at Capella Hotel,Sentosa

feelin all excited,i went to the salon to blow and curl my hair then realised i didnt look nice at all in curls.. i actually looked much older , so i came home to de-curl it by stepping right back into the shower.
what a waste of effort.tsk.
Dress was a boned corset dress which i love :X i was a lil stressed abt the shoes cos i wanted to wear my Gucci booties but it was so difficult to walk in 'em so i settled for nine west heehehee

note how Pris is holding on to champagne while i sip sparkling water hahaa


last year, the runway was reallly long at the Nat Museum but this year's was pretty much NY Fashion Week with the white clothed seats and white decor... i was expecting it to be in the outdoors cos it was their SPring Summer 09 collection which had a tropical feel to it... i like their new jackie O bags






i am the typical groupie and dan was so ashamed to be my cameradude, lucky for me, KS was drunk enough to go around and take pics withme hahahaha yay to that!
first groupie shot was with the Great Spy Experiment hehehee but that's in pris' camera

i think Ericia Lee is really attractive
yvonne lim looked so gorgeous in gucci from top to toe , she was so smileeeey n friendly : )


JJ lin is also endorsed by Gucci, so i finally googled his MV on youtube last night, not tooo bad! :X

the capella hotel was officially open on Monday so we were pretty stoked to check out the place too
we ended up at ChipBee for Da P's Pizza

Wednesday:
Mery and I had to rush to take pics for our launch which was really well- received.
We always have pre-launch jitters cos we're worried the girls won't like our stuff but the Mischa Barton dress was a hit and so were the Twisted Metal Mesh Tops.
Most girls ended up buying like 2-3 and one even bought 6! :)
I'm secretly happy that our customers are working ladies and most of them are very well groomed, and i think one of the joy of having a blogshop are the emails and the interaction with our customers.. Mery's the PR girl and i help out only when she asks me too...
imagine if we swap to a shopping cart function, yes it'll be less tedious but we wouldn't know anything abt the regulars and the new girls. -happy sigh-

Thursday-
it's a new month and March which had 22 trading days is finally over and done with. Have witnessed how the markets are picking up and there was even an email that circulated about Telstra on April Fool's day which caused many investors some money. Most of my stocks have reached new highs and im a lil nervous about it.The aussie dollar is also going up and Dow Jones is near the 8K mark. A new target to reach and Im not sure if i've lost my steam.

Friday
I ended up going for the My Executive search thing @ vivocity cos my Colleague was part of it
wished he got my bosses to do the "about him" video which was screened on stage for judges , his roomie was really unprofessional and said something like " he never pays for the dry cleaning bill which i wish he would contribute if he wins the grand prize"
i mean my big boss with his Brit Accent and being an action behdeh would have easily convinced the judges my colleague was a high frequency daytrader who takes calculated risks everyday and a stellar one too :X
We ended up havig din din at Brozeit.

Anyway, i went to Zara
when i saw tweed jackets in nautical hues, skinny jeans in pastel colours, and very awesome tops , i succumbed to all of them.
their S/S season is reallly fantastic,
they've nailed every look on the runway.. from florals to blazers to zippers and nautical-inspired pieces.





mery n i have been wanting to get our hands on the ruffly top in the above pic
and i shall wear it with their baby blue skinnys :X
it was like ice cream colured skinnys on display and for $59.90!:D they had them in salmon pink, lilac,cream,white,soft grey... i was contemplating between a faded ripped jeans but somehow my thighs looked bigger in them as compared to their skinnys so no guess to which i bought.
seriously, just check out the shoes.
