i think it will look better with the chain. the chain kinda give that edge.

im trying to see if we can use silver threads to make it look like a chain so it's washable :)
and i'll try to ask supplirs to make it less boxy and more longish and slimming... and take in more on the drape :)

i quite like black and grey instead. like light grey as compared to dark grey. but if i need to make a choice, i will take black. beige looks kinda old... i am only 21 this year, don't want to look so mature...yet. haha.
Rahrah.. its GORGEOUS!!! I am so impressed at your work! I like the chains but agree with the silver thread lining :) Also, having black is a good choice. But an alternative shade close to beige/blush/nude/pink champagne/sand would be pretty S/S10 too! just my $0.02 worth :)
i agree that this beige looks a bit old and sack like, esp with the soft and loose draping. black would be lovely, and silver thread sounds good!
i'd also love a more unusual shade like royal purple or midnight blue, but i'm strange like that :P

hmm actually it was suppose to be Grey with a pastel coloured chiffon lining but I couldnt decide on a light blue or light purple or just plain grey chiffon.. and picked beige cos the colour chart was that limited n it was more s/s2010 hahahaa
but thanks so much for your feedbacks babe.. i'll go check the colour chart again for more glam and dark colours... i guess beige wld be out..but do take note the lighting was kinda orangey too..

No chain! Like your idea of "less boxy and more longish and slimming". I have one similar drape jacket, soft silver-grey color which matches easily and not loud for the silver effect.
okie dokes babes, tweed jacket colours =black and grey which has pretty iridescent shiny bits :)
No chain :)just chiffon bits around the hem line.
