♥ ♥ oooh shenanigans!!!♥ ♥: how time flies! :)

This lil blogshop of ours finally turned 2 this month :)

Up to date we have sold 500+ designs and 32 SMooch items, all this would not have been possible if not for the many ladies out there who have been faithfully camping on weeknights.

In my maid-of-honour speech at Mery's wedding dinner, I said it felt like yesterday we were sitting on my bed picking out the design for our website banner and she picked the tiffany ring to be placed there so that Perry would know what to buy when he decides to propose to her hehe and look at us now 2 years after.

How did we even coin out the name "across the bloody universe?"

Could have been a Beatle's inspired thingy ;) lol

How did " SMooch" come about?

I guess that's easier to figure out hehe

It's basically Sarah & Mery , besides" SMitten is already a name of a local magazine hahaha so that was an easy option to eliminate :X

Mery's an amazing girl and it's my blessing to have her as a friend and biz-partner.

We finish off each other's sentences, we have very similar tastes in fashion & confide in each other like how sisters would. I'm thankful for the fact that we've never quarrelled and have stood up for each other in times of difficulty.

Our mothers say " wo men hen yo yuan" it's something that you either have with someone or not and it must have been fate that drew us so close. Sounds more like a love story eh?

We've taken our customers on our insane lust for fierce pieces to dolly demure designs, have set new standards & pushed boundaries in making cocktail wear more affordable, possibly may have bridged the gap between cheap and runway fashion without compromising on quality.

Never knew pastel colours would be hotter than black,

and never knew we could sell flourescent colours as well.

Our customers are definitely an adventurous bunch & thank you for making this blogshop an experience & joy to have :)

We shall keep improving our SMooch items, that's a promise I'm keeping and I know it will not disappoint in the next couple of months :)

We wanted to show our appreciation to some of our regulars and we knew at once we had to host a tea party !

Faced a problem of location and we needed a space to talk abt the upcoming designs so Gina suggested Private Dining Room at Equinox and Voila!!

We settled for board-room style layout instead of round tables so that the food can be laid out in the middle and served on tea stands :)

Much thanks to Equinox of Fairmont for giving us an extensive high-tea menu. Every morsel was delicious and I wish I could have eaten more!

Yeap, all designs seen on Mannequins will be coming to you very soon!

(toilet break to chase mery out hahaha she was re-touching her make up cos the make-up artiste gave her too dark a base!! )

The Mayflower dresses in new colours: Red, Tiffany Mint, Indigo Blue, Lemon Yellow and Raspberry Pink. They are so perfect for colour themed weddings! :)

Convertible dresses are here to stay for future bride-to-bes :)

Penny who use to radio for 98fm was v gracious to offer to host the tea for us, she helped so much with prep but I really wanted her to sit down and enjoy the meal :) Thanks for everything!

Kristine has always been supportive of our blogshop and it's just amazing how her name pops up time and time again.. we really had to thank her personally!!! I personally think she looks really good in our Smooch items :)

Emmy has also been very kind to us as well, remembered her for recommending the Elodie Waterfall Dress once on a forum, and haha she's always checking on the length of the item first before making a buy, our SMooch items are usually too short for her!!!

It was awkward at first cos nobody knew each other so we were thankful everyone kinda made an effort to be sociable and friendly hdhee, the ice finally broke when we started talking about the upcoming designs and colours :)

Age is really just a number. we have discovered the ages of some of our customers, we are flabbergasted how well they've maintained .we are so inspired by them hahahaha
it's great to know our customers come from a wide range of occupations :)
and some are still in school :)
