its been 4 days and i pretty much realised i can still do this blogging thingy without compromising much...so im doing this on a whim hehehe

work is picking up momentum.

sayhello to my desk( we each have 3 screens)

finally got a table and a personalised work email.

i sit next to kiwi girl n it was her birthday yesterday, she wore an alex mcqueen scarf arnd her neck and i was half jealous :X

her bf sent flowers n cake over from japan n i also got her something small from topshop.wanted her to feel a lil better since she's here in sg all by herself.

i'm sitted by the window(our building has no covered walls its made entirely out of glass), it gets a lil warm in the afternoon but its nice to have a corner, plus my office chair is super uber comfy n stylo mylo.

obiwan kenobi has been very patient to teach us abt the markets, the software we use, bloomberg terminals yadayada

just yesterday, some dude in Aussie made a mistake by selling shares which originally cost $22+ for 1cent and ASX had to cancel all trades for stocks below $22 for that particular company as it was a real time error.

the better u are, the more trading screens u'll get , no great words of wisdom except to "buy low and sell high" and that will be the principle of my livelihood for the near future.

everyday im home, im stressing abt work cos there is quite a bit to read yeap, im still ravin mad at chictopia hehee

raffles place is an entirely new playground for me, everytime i walk out of raffles place mrt,loud music will blast from the huge tv, i would think im on a catwalk.

i've yet to have time to explore the place but i know toast(by marmalade pantry) is in the building and i can grab cupcakes (if there r any left) before i go for training .Strip and browhaus is right downstairs, california fitness is on my left, so many eating places to discover : )

my bosses are really nice peeps. i wonder if its cos they're expats, everything is serious because money is involved but they're still friendly and really approachable.

so thats a quick update on work : )

dan n i are both so busy we hardly text each other or meet up during office hrs.

on wed,i finally took the train with him to town ( we never had the opportunity to take public together) so it was another new experience especially since both of us were decked in office formals.i cant wait to see how we fare by the end of the year.
